Refunds and cancellations

Your 14-day right to cancel

Stories are digital content. Under UK law you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel and get a full refund.

Because you get access straight away, at checkout we ask you to agree that: "I want immediate access and understand I lose my 14-day cancellation right once I start playing."

That means:

• If you haven't started a game with a story yet, you can cancel within 14 days of buying it for a full refund.
• Once you've started a game with a story, the right to cancel that story ends.
• For a pack, the refund for cancelling within 14 days is reduced by the value of any stories in it you've already played.

If something's wrong

If a story is faulty (audio missing or broken, or it doesn't work as described) tell us. We'll fix it, or if we can't do that in reasonable time we'll give you a refund, as the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires. This doesn't depend on the 14-day period.

How to ask

Email account@murdermysterygame.co.uk from the email address on your account, with your order reference (it starts MMG- and is on your receipt). Refunds go back to the card you paid with, through Revolut, normally within 14 days of us agreeing them. When a story or pack is refunded, access to it is removed.
